Workplan for Prolead II submitted to WHO Kobe Centre

In January 2005, WPRO submitted a revised curriculum and supporting documents for budget execution of Prolead II implementation in 2005-2006 with WKC.

Prolead II implemented in Bangkok and Kobe

Prolead II was held from July 2005 to April 2006 in Bangkok (Module 1) and Kobe, Japan (Modules 2 and 3). Prolead II was managed and supported by the WHO Kobe Center (WKC), Kobe, Japan. SEAMEO TROPMED Network again convened Prolead II. Also involved were the United Nations Environment Program, based in Osaka, and the United Nations University, based in Tokyo. The theme of Prolead II was “governance for health.” Teams of fellows came from these countries: India, Japan, Lebanon, Oman, Republic of Korea, and Viet Nam. There was also a group composed of members of the SEAMEO TROPMED Network. During the course of the program, fellows were able to participate in the 6th Global Conference for Health Promotion (August 2005).
